Hide your Airtag in your bike with Airbell

Hide your Airtag in the bell of your bike!

An Airtag for your bike bell? Does it exist? Yes, it exists! Two cycling passionate men had the idea to make a bell that can hide an Airtag so you can follow your bike everywhere ! Discover in this blog the Airbell, the brand that will scare all the bike thieves ;)

What is Airbell?

Having your bike stolen is a very common problem in France and especially in Paris. Not everyone can afford to buy a GPS tracker because of the price or because a GPS tracker is simply not discreet enough to use. For this reason, two Austrian cycling enthusiasts have invented a bicycle bell that allows you to hide an Airtag safely.

This invention allows you to fool a thief and make your life easier!

The AirBell is not much bigger than a normal bicycle bell, it has no striking logo and is therefore not noticeable from other bikes. This means that a thief will not immediately realise that an AirTag is attached to the bike. The Airbell fits handlebars with a diameter of 22 mm. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no adapter for thinner or thicker handlebars.

Beware! The AirTag is not included in the box!

The noise of the AirTag is very low

If your bike or bell is stolen or you can't remember where you put it in the bike shed, you can use the AirTag to find it. The U1 chip is ideal for this, but in terms of sound the tracker is limited by the bell. This makes sense, as the AirTag is surrounded by the whole bell.

So finding your bike based on sound is not ideal. This is why the AirBell is best used in combination with an iPhone 11 or later, as these iPhone models have a U1 chip and can therefore locate your Airtag accurately. Other models, including the iPhone SE, rely on Bluetooth and sound.
