On this page you will find a complete overview of all iPhone models ever released, from the original iPhone (2007) up to and including the latest iPhone 17 series. Each model lists its official Apple model numbers (the A-number), release year, and screen size. MagSafe is supported on iPhone 12 and all newer models, including the iPhone 12 Mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, and all subsequent generations up to the iPhone 17 series. Older iPhones do not have the built-in MagSafe magnet ring and are not compatible with MagSafe accessories.
Apple switched from Lightning to USB-C starting with the iPhone 15 series (2023). All iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and all newer models use USB-C. The iPhone 14 and older models, as well as the iPhone SE (1st, 2nd and 3rd generation), use Lightning.
The model number (starting with the letter A, followed by 4 digits) identifies the specific iPhone version and is the same for all units of that model. The serial number is unique to your specific device and can be used to check warranty status. You can find both under Settings > General > About.
Cases are designed specifically per iPhone model. Once you know your model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro), you can browse our iPhone accessories page and filter by your model to find compatible cases, screen protectors, and more.
Cases are generally not interchangeable between iPhone 14 and iPhone 15, as dimensions and camera cutouts differ. However, some accessories like chargers and cables may be compatible. Always check the product description or contact us if you are unsure about compatibility.
