Which iPhone charger do I need?

Most iPhone models can be charged with the same cable. So it doesn't matter if you have an iPhone 6 or iPhone 12 Pro. This is because the iPhone is charged with a lightning to usb connection. This type of lightning cable can also be used to charge (most) iPad, AirPods and iPod devices. The older models can only be charged with a different kind of charger.

Here you can find all cables and adapters for your iPhone.

Which adapter do I need?

There are 2 different types of adapters, namely the USB A adapter and the USB C adapter. Nowadays all iPhone devices come without an adapter. You do get a USB C to lighting cable. This cable does not fit on the USB A adapter from Apple, but only on the USB C fast chargers.

Do you have an Apple USB A to lightning cable? Then buy an adapter with a USB port. The Apple 5W USB Power adapter compact makes sure your iPhone is always charged.

Have a USB C to lightning cable? Then buy an adapter with a USB C port so the cable fits and you can charge your iPhone without problems.

Tip from SB Supply: Do you have an iPhone 8 or a newer model? Then choose the Apple USB-C power adapter with the Apple Lightning to USB-C cable of 2.00m. Every iPhone from the iPhone 8 upwards supports fast charging.

What is fast charging?

Fast charging allows you to charge your phone faster by using a higher voltage or current. This means that compared to a regular charger, your phone's battery receives more current during one charge, allowing it to charge faster. This effect is enhanced when the battery is empty or nearly full. Fast charging is perfect!

Which iPhone can wirelessly charge?

It is possible to charge the latest iPhone models wirelessly. The models from iPhone 8 onwards have a built-in wireless charging feature. This allows the device to be charged easily and intuitively. This means that your iPhone can be charged with certified chargers that are available as accessories.

Apple's latest MagSafe charger makes it even more convenient to charge your phone for all iPhone models starting with iPhone 12. With the MagSafe wireless charging cable looks very much like a usual wireless charger. The biggest and most important difference is that this charger is magnetic. This magnetic feature allows the charger to always click exactly on the center of the back of the iPhone. This center point ensures the most efficient transfer. With a usual wireless charger, there can be energy loss in the form of heat.

Tip from SB Suppply: Want to be 100% charged on the go too? Then use the Apple MagSafe Battery Pack. So you can charge your iPhone carefree while traveling.
