QWERTY Italian

The QWERTY Italian keyboard is used in Italy and is specially adapted to the Italian language. The Enter/Return key is L-shaped and the left Shift key is smaller because there is an extra key next to it. Characteristic of this layout are the separate keys for the Italian vowels with accents: è, à, ò, ì and ù. This allows these frequently used letters to be typed directly without key combinations. Additionally, some punctuation marks and special characters are positioned differently than on a Dutch QWERTY keyboard. For example, the @, #, [ ], { }, ; and : are located on other keys or are entered using other key combinations.
