The i-Tec USB 3.0 / USB-C 5K Dual Display is a multifunctional docking station that offers your laptop or tablet more connections. Ideal when you want to use multiple screens, set up a wired internet connection or connect peripherals. Thanks to the power delivery function, you can charge your laptop via a USB-C cable (up to max 85W). The Thunderbolt hub from i-Tec also supports 2x 4K screens or 1x 5K monitor. In addition, the Dual Display 5K Docking Station is equipped with an integrated network port for connection to the LAN network, USB ports and support for audio and microphone.

Macbook Pro 2020 M1 with 2 displays

It's a problem we often hear about. You have a Macbook Pro 2020 with M1 chip and would like to connect multiple displays. Unfortunately the M1 chip only supports one display/monitor. By using this docking station from i-Tec you can connect two displays to your Macbook Pro 2020 with M1 chip. The docking station is equipped with a special video card. If you want to use two monitors you can connect them via the Display Port and / or HDMI input on the docking station. The HDMI and Display Port make use of the built-in video card needed for the Macbook Pro 2020 M1 (DisplayLink technology). The docking station is certified by Apple and works seamlessly with your Macbook Pro M1. 

The screen resolution is the same for one or two connected monitors, namely 4K / 60 Hz. The 5k resolution of this docking station is unfortunately not supported by MacOs, only Windows.
